OLD TRAFFORD info
The north stand (pictured left) is a 3 tier stand which alone holds a staggering 26,000 on its own. This stand opened in 1996 it was built for the Euro 96 tournament which was held in England that year. When the north stand opened it took the capacity to 55,645. This stand also has a museum,the platinum lounge and the Red cafe.

This took the capacity to 62,410. But the first day of the 2000/2001 season the new west stand( Stretford end) opened to take the capacity to a whopping 68,217.
